Description
Hojicha is a roasted Japanese green tea. The roasting process is carried out in a pot over fire at high temperatures, this gives it the brown color and special flavor that characterizes this tea. In the roasting process it loses caffeine (almost like a decaffeinated tea) and acquires a toasted and nutty aroma. It has a slight sweetness, it is not bitter or astringent. After the roasting process, the leaves are ground to obtain the powder, it is creamy and pleasant, with a chocolatey touch perfect to combine with milk and prepare a Hojicha Latte.
