Blooming teas, also known as flower tea is a combination of tea leaves and dry flowers. These are elaborated artisanally in China. The tea leaves and dry flowers are cooked carefully by hand and served in transparent crystal teapots for a better visual effect. Due to their beauty, flowering teas are perfect for a date, a nice diner or a special occasion especially if used with a crystal warmer with a candle. One piece of flowering tea serves approximately 5 cups. The tea’s and the flower´s flavors combine to create a wonderful floral taste and aroma. The ideal brewing temperature is 212°F with a recommended brewing time of 3 to 4 minutes or until it flowers.
