Description
Sencha is a Japanese green tea gathered from the first harvest of the year. Its name literally means “cooked tea”, since this variety is first steamed for 15 to 45 seconds, in order to avoid oxidation of the leaves. It’s rich in chlorophyll and minerals like calcium with a pleasant vegetable taste and produce a greenish yellow color in the cup.
