Description

Golden Bud PuErh is a black (cooked) tea that is often aged in caves or specially designed climate-controlled locations, both during and after undergoing a “composting” procedure. In this process, the growth of beneficial bacteria is encouraged by introducing moisture to the tea leaf piles, which are regularly turned and spread out. This results in the distinctive flavor and aroma of PuErh, as well as its high level of antioxidants and probiotics. Due to its production process, PuErh develops special characteristics that make it an excellent dietary supplement, accelerating liver metabolism. It is ideal for those following weight loss regimens. In the cup, it presents an intense reddish color with an earthy taste on the palate.

Golden Bud PuErh received SILVER in the PuErh/Dark Tea category at the World Tea Championships in Single Serve Hot (2018).
