Properly prepared matcha green tea requires a bamboo whisk, called a chasen, designed precisely for the ceremonial bowl of matcha. The 64 tines of the Chasen Bamboo Tea Whisk perfect the drink, creating a bowl of frothy.
1. Add 1 tsp (2 bamboo scoops) to a matcha bowl.
2. Add 2 oz of 160 degree water. (For best results never use boiling water).
3. Whisk vigorously in a zig zag motion until the tea is frothy.
4. Add more 2 oz-6 oz water, milk or add to your own recipe.
